China Everbright Environment's Waste-to-Energy Projects in Fergana Region and Namangan Region, UzbekistanTotal investment: approximately 2 billion RMB (equivalent to around 283 million USD).

Among them, the Fergana Project covers an area of 10 hectares, with a designed capacity of 1,500 tons of municipal solid waste (MSW) per day.  Once operational, it is expected to generate approximately 310 million kWh of green electricity annually, which can meet the electricity needs of tens of thousands of local households.

The Fergana Basin in Uzbekistan has large diurnal temperature differences and an arid climate, placing extremely high demands on power equipment for fire resistance, energy‑saving performance, weather resistance and maintenance‑free capability.

Conventional oil‑immersed transformers pose risks of leakage, fire and explosion.
